A person died after getting caught in an engine at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
The incident is the second well-documented case of a death involving a plane engine in 2024.

"A fatal incident took place at Schiphol today during which a person ended up in a running aircraft engine," the airline said in a statement.
In January, a 30-year-old man died after climbing inside a Delta Air Lines plane's engine at Salt Lake City airport.
