ET New York Exchange Halts Plan to Delist Chinese Firms: Live Business UpdatesThe New York Stock Exchange reverses its plan to delist Chinese telecom firms. Credit... Alex Plavevski/EPA, via Shutterstock The New York Stock Exchange said late on Monday that it had reversed a decision to delist China’s three major state-run telecommunications companies. The statement did not give a reason for the decision, though it appeared that the executive order may not require the exchange to delist the companies. The exchange said that its regulatory department would continue to evaluate the applicability of the order to the telecommunications companies. Still, the disappearance from the American exchange had hefty symbolic value for worsening economic ties between China and the United States.

Gabriel Sterling, a top election official in Georgia, delivered a scathing refutation on Monday of President Trump’s false claims of voter fraud. “I wanted to scream,” he said of his reaction to the call between Mr. Trump and Mr. Raffensperger. ET Presidential Transition Live Updates: 117th Congress Is Set to Convene for First Time Democrats are poised to re-elect Nancy Pelosi as speaker for what may be her final term. Judges across the country, and a Supreme Court with a conservative majority, have rejected nearly 60 attempts by Mr. Trump and his allies to challenge the results. It also follows the protracted campaign by President Trump to overturn his loss through recounts, legal challenges and a barrage of baseless allegations of fraud. The House voted to charge Mr. Trump with high crimes and misdemeanors, with Republicans unanimously opposed. Still, Mr. Trump threatened not to sign it, plunging the fate of the legislation into uncertainty and holding out the possibility of yet another government shutdown.
