Videos and pictures released by Ukrainian officials showed people sorting through the rubble including a badly damaged five-story apartment building. According to Klymenko, four civilians died in the first attack and Donetsk emergency official was killed during the second attack. Andriy Yermak, the head of Ukraine's presidential administration, later reported two more victims of Russian strikes in Kruhliakivka village in Kupiansk district.

"Rescuers, law enforcement and public utilities are working at the scene to go through the rubble of the destroyed building. At least 44 people were killed last month when a Russian missile hit an apartment building in the eastern city of Dnipro. Last April, Ukraine said 57 people died when a Russian missile hit the train station in Kramatorsk.
