China a refuzat să ofere datele neprelucrate despre primele cazuri de Covid-19 echipei Organizaţiei Mondiale a Sănătăţii (OMS) care investighează originea pandemiei de coronavirus, relatează Reuters. Tot ce a primit însă, a fost un rezumat al cazurilor, a declarat Dominic Dwyer, un expert australian în boli infecţioase, membru al echipei OMS. Din spusele lui, doar jumătate dintre cei 174 de pacienți au fost în piața Huanan din Wuhan, unde a fost descoperit noul virus. Echipa a participat la un număr limitat de vizite organizate de gazdele chineze și nu a contactat cu membrii comunității din cauza restricțiilor impuse. Primele două săptămâni echipa a fost plasată în carantină.
