☆ I've traveled on all 5 Disney cruise ships. I have 2 clear favorites, and there's only one I'm not in a hurry to book again.

So far, we've been on all five Disney Cruise Line ships — Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish. AdvertisementMy favorite ships are Disney Wonder and Disney MagicDisney Wonder is one of my favorite ships. Disney Wonder also has my favorite Disney Cruise Line restaurant, Tiana's Place. Disney Wonder and Disney Magic have nearly identical deck layouts, as do Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. Unlike the other Disney cruise ships we've been on, Disney Wish doesn't have a specific area for adults-only lounges.

☆ I took my teens to an all-inclusive resort. It was a better family experience than the Disney Cruise we are used to.

For the past five years or so, we've been taking our kids on cruises, usually to the Caribbean and usually on Disney Cruise Line. We typically don't see a lot of our teens on a cruise, which we've never seen as a negative. My husband and I appreciate the opportunity to have a little time together on a family vacation. A more relaxed pace and less interest in screensThings at the resort moved at a more relaxed pace than on a cruise. No matter what we do on a family vacation, the goal is for everyone to come away from the experience and be glad they went.

The company announced it would slash expenses by another $2 billion, adding to the $5.5 billion reduction it had previously announced, which included thousands of job cuts. Meanwhile, the company continues to lose money in its Disney+ streaming business, but it managed to significantly reduce its losses in that division. The company reported revenue of $21.2 billion, coming in slightly below expectations of $21.3 billion, according to estimates from analysts surveyed by Refinitiv. The company said it was “aggressively managing its cost base,” planning to slash $2 billion more in costs than previously reported. “We are bullish about the future of our streaming business,” Iger said.
