On his Hinge dating profile, Yuwoon Choi answered a prompt: “All I ask is that you … be open to dating someone in a wheelchair.”The prompt, in conjunction with his profession as general counsel at Samsung, caught Danni Liu’s eye when she came across his profile in May 2023.
She matched with him and started a conversation, but he responded at snail’s speed.
Four days after they matched, Mr. Choi, 37, asked her out on a date for the following Saturday.
“He had me waiting for two weeks, basically,” Ms. Liu, 30, said.
“From my experience, if someone really likes you, they want to see you sooner.”
