(AP) — Even John Harbaugh isn't sure what to expect from Dalvin Cook this weekend. Harbaugh says the running back will be an option Saturday when the Ravens play their postseason opener against the Houston Texans. And Gus Edwards ran for 810 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Ravens during the regular season. The Ravens waived Melvin Gordon III and signed Cook from the practice squad to the active roster. I’m ready to give it all I have — everything I have in the tank,” Cook said.

The pandemic has changed the way we shop. More people buying things online means more people returning things, too. WSJ’s Dalvin Brown explains how some companies are leveraging gig workers to make those returns for you. Photo illustration: David FangSome companies processing returned televisions for retailers have gotten a surprise when opening the boxes—packaging filled with bricks rather than newly purchased TVs. Others examining returned purchases of purported luxury goods are instead finding counterfeits sent in by customers looking for refunds on full-price, deluxe merchandise.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets' playoff hopes could get a big boost with a victory Sunday. The Jets (4-7) are mired in a four-game skid that has them second-to-last in the AFC, ahead of only the division rival Patriots (2-9). “I feel like the playoffs are always from Week 1 all the way through,” coach Robert Saleh said Friday. But it can’t be how you live.”Rodgers had his 21-day practice window started Wednesday and he was limited in his return. He has had his sights set on returning for the Jets' home game against Washington on Dec. 24, but wouldn't rule out a return before then.

Photo Illustration: Rachel Mendelson/The Wall Street Journal, iStockGoogle will start to sweep away cobweb-collecting Gmail accounts this week. If you have an email address you haven’t touched in a couple of years, it might soon be gone. The tech giant on Friday will start deleting personal Google accounts that have remained inactive for at least two years—and going forward, it will continue killing accounts that reach two years of disuse. Once deleted, the accounts and any items in them can’t be recovered. This could mean the end of personal emails, cherished documents and candid photos and videos tucked away in old Gmail accounts, Google Drives and other nooks in Google’s servers.

The Vikings sent a 2026 conditional sixth-round draft pick to the Rams for Akers and a 2026 conditional seventh-round pick in the deal, which was pending Akers passing a physical. Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell, offensive coordinator Wes Phillips and quarterbacks coach Chris O'Hara were Rams assistants during Akers' first two years there. He was sent away from the team at midseason while the Rams tried to trade him. But after the Rams put the second-year player Williams ahead of him in the pecking order, they renewed their attempt to trade Akers. I think sometimes it boils down to, ‘All right, is it a fit?’” McVay said on Monday after confirming the Rams were again trying to deal Akers.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Dak Prescott threw for two touchdowns, Zach Wilson had three interceptions in his first start after Aaron Rodgers' season-ending Achilles tendon injury, and the Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Jets 30-10 on Sunday. But New York had just 147 yards outside the long TD, and four second-half turnovers left little doubt for Dallas. Prescott targeted Lamb so much — 13 times, two shy of his career high — it was almost one too many. CNN —Aaron Rodgers’ arrival in the MetLife Stadium on Monday night signaled that change and hope were on the way for the New York Jets, but it turns out that this season’s long-awaited new era has suffered a significant setback. However, just four snaps into Rodgers’ New York career, disaster struck. Gang Green forced four turnovers from Bills quarterback Josh Allen – a fumble to go along with three interceptions by Jordan Whitehead. Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson (17) celebrates with teammates after catching a pass for a touchdown during the fourth quarter. Wilson throws a pass under pressure from the Bills' pass rush.
