CNN —An underwater search team that specializes in missing persons cold cases discovered approximately 30 cars submerged in a South Florida lake over the weekend, police said. “As of this time, it is unknown if these vehicles are linked to criminal activity nor how long the vehicles have been submerged in the lake,” Doral police said. Authorities were investigating Tuesday after divers recovered dozens of vehicles from a lake in Doral, Florida. More than 40 cold cases on are their radar in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties, Bishop said. Miami-Dade police told CNN their divers were working Tuesday to recover vehicles from the lake with assistance from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

CNN —Police arrested an 18-year-old mother Tuesday after she attempted to hire a hitman to kill her 3-year-old son, according to police. The individual who runs the website received a service request to put out a hit on the intended victim, Paez’s son, police say. Authorities tracked down Paez using an IP address and phone number obtained through the fake website, which led them to the residence of the grandmother of the 3-year-old. The phone number confirmed the original request and agreed to pay $3,000 for the job, police said. Paez thought by hiring a hitman to kill her son, she would be able to rekindle their relationship, the affidavit says she told police.

Miami Police arrested 27-year-old Christopher Keeley around 8:20 p.m. on Friday night in Miami Beach, according to a statement released by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office. Police found the bodies Tuesday night, when they arrived to conduct a well-being check, the district attorney’s office said in a news release Wednesday. Police also found a dead dog inside the home, according to the district attorney’s office. The Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is investigating the cause and manner of the victims’ deaths. Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz earlier said the attack appeared to be targeted and that it was unclear when it unfolded.
Odell Beckham Jr. was escorted off of an American Airlines flight by police Sunday morning after crew members who tried to wake him up before departure grew concerned because he "appeared to be coming in and out of consciousness," according to officials. The Miami-Dade Police Department responded to American Airlines flight 1228 in Miami, bound for Los Angeles, at around 9:30 a.m. after flight attendants called for help out of fear that Beckham Jr. was ill and "his condition would worsen through the expected 5 hour flight," police said. "Upon the officers arrival, the flight crew asked Mr. Beckham several times to exit the aircraft, which he refused," police said in a statement. In a tweet published Sunday morning, Beckham Jr. said "Never in my life have I experienced what just happened to me… I’ve seen it alll..""Never. Representatives for Beckham Jr. did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Dragun, 26, was arrested Monday at a hotel and charged with felony assault of a police officer. Dragun, who is transgender, is well-known online for content about her transition, beauty and style. While in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami, Dragun’s representative said she was placed in a men’s unit. Dragun was released on recognizance, Miami-Dade County’s records said, meaning she did not have to post bail.
Influencer Nikita Dragun was arrested Monday night at a hotel in Miami and charged with felony assault of a police officer, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department. Over the past week, Dragun has posted videos and photos of herself in Miami, including at The Goodtime Hotel in Miami Beach. Dragun was arrested on the felony assault charge, as well as misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges, the affidavit said. Hours before the arrest, Dragun tweeted about a separate altercation with Miami-based DJ and producer duo Black V Neck. On Sunday, Black V Neck tweeted that Dragun had shoved one of them after he told her not to steal their liquor bottle.
