A train carrying several hundred people crashed late Tuesday night into a freight train in Greece, killing at least 38 and injuring more than 80, in one of the worst rail disasters in the country’s history. Infrastructure and Transport Minister Kostas Karamanlis said he would step down Wednesday after visiting the scene of the crash. “When something this tragic occurs, we can’t go on as if nothing had happened,” he said.
