The tech giant has revived employee perks in an attempt to boost staff morale, reports Bloomberg. Company merch, happy hours, and snack bars all saw cuts during Mark Zuckerberg's "year of efficiency." But Meta is now bringing them back as it tells staff to come into the office at least three days a week. A Meta spokesperson told Bloomberg that while the company was bringing back some perks, "Dinner, happy hour and company swag never really went away, merely adjusted given the pandemic and budgets." The revived perks, which also include a new coffee bar and earlier dinners, are part of Meta's renewed effort to lure staff back into the office.

Tesla's newest merch is a "multifunctional cat nest" inspired by the Cybertruck's angular design. Other Musk company merch has included flamethrowers, perfume, and surf boards. The company famously sold red satin short shorts branded across the back with "S3XY" in a taunt to Tesla short-sellers. The Cybertruck cat nest is one of the more affordable lifestyle items being sold right now on the Tesla site, listed for 89 Chinese Yuan, or about $13 USD. Pricewise, it even competes with the greater cardboard cat bed market — one of the more popular cardboard cat beds for sale on Amazon will run you about $20, while a cardboard hot dog truck for cats will cost you $38.

Madison Malone Kircher: In case you didn’t spot it, Carrie kicks off Episode 1 in a New York Times sweatshirt: white, oversize, with a subtle little logo. LL: The New York Times, leaving money on the table since 1851. MMK: There was also that “I Love Central Park” sweatshirt in Season 1. The Carrie of “And Just Like That” seems eager to wear her engaged-citizen bona fides on her sleeve (or sweatshirt, or phone case). LL: I cackled at the theme of this fictional Met Gala — “Veiled Beauty” — for its sheer plausibility.
