What Chinese Calligraphy Taught Me About Myself
  + stars: | 2023-06-27 | by ( Jerrine Tan | ) www.nytimes.com   time to read: +3 min
In calligraphy, the idea is to replicate the old masters’ techniques, thereby refining your own. I was trying to make sense of this tangle by writing lines, but at its heart, calligraphy is a sensuous practice. As a bodily practice, calligraphy could transcend its own cultural constraints.
