Timothée Chalamet's recent films, 'Wonka' and 'Dune: Part Two,' have both surpassed the $200 million mark at the domestic box office. No film had crossed $200 million domestically since "Oppenheimer" last August. Chalamet, whose global box office total is over $2.5 billion, is proving he'll be a box-office draw for years to come. And now Timothée Chalamet has the box-office coin to prove he's one of the biggest draws in the movie business. Both titles have also surpassed the $200 million milestone domestically, something no other titles released this year have done so far.

Chalamet's magenta velvet suit was from Tom Ford's latest collection. Jean-Paul Gaultier's "Pin Up Boys" from the 1996 season were early examples of the shirtless suit on the runway. In Gaultier’s infamous Spring-Summer 1996 collection, titled “Pin-Up Boys,” the shirtless suit was gauche, cheesy and even funny. For Chalamet, shirtlessness is fast becoming a state of mind.

REUTERS/Yara Nardi/File PhotoLONDON, July 11 (Reuters) - Timothee Chalamet follows in the footsteps of Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp to play Willy Wonka in a new prequel film that looks at how Roald Dahl's fictional character came to love chocolate. The film, out in December, is set before the 1971 movie "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", starring Wilder as Wonka in an adaptation of Dahl's beloved 1964 book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". The new movie sees Wonka arriving in a fictional European city, which is home to master chocolatiers. Like Wilder, and Depp in the 2005 film "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", Chalamet is dressed in Wonka's top hat and long jacket. The trailer also shows Chalamet's famous co-stars, including Olivia Colman, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson and Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa.
