A car crashed into Madame ZuZu’s, a popular suburban tea shop owned by Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, on Wednesday, officials said, leaving his mother-in-law injured. The crash happened around 12 p.m. at 1876 First St. in Highland Park, authorities said in a public safety alert. “Community members are asked to please avoid the block of First St. between Central Ave. & Elm Pl.,” the alert stated. “Our family is grateful for the swift assistance of the Highland Park and Deerfield first responders,” her statement read. Madame ZuZu’s will be closed “until further notice.”

New York CNN —Red Lobster wants to close several dozen more restaurants following its bankruptcy, and it has identified which ones are in danger of shutting down if the court approves its plan. The chain, which brought affordable shrimp and lobster to middle-class America and grew to become the largest seafood restaurant chain in the world, filed for bankruptcy last month. Red Lobster said that it had more than $1 billion in debt and less than $30 million in cash on hand. Part of its plan is to close some locations of its nearly 600 restaurants in the meantime. A few weeks prior to its bankruptcy, it abruptly closed around 50 locations across the United States.

Rite Aid filed plans to close 154 stores on Monday as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Rite Aid is the smallest of the three major drugstore chains, well behind CVS and Walgreens. Rite Aid was expected to close stores as part of its bankruptcy. Rite Aid told Insider that it considers a variety of factors when deciding to close a store, "including business strategy, lease and rent considerations, local business conditions and viability, and store performance." The burglary comes amid reports of voter intimidation in Arizona, where Hobbs, as secretary of state, is the top election official.
