Consultancy Brick Meets Click forecasted in January that grocery e-commerce sales will grow at a rate of 12% through 2027. That's a tremendous slowdown from early in the pandemic when e-commerce grocery jumped an average of 300% each month. Other startups in the grocery delivery space have faced issues.

Two months after the pharmacy startup Medly declared bankruptcy, Walgreens is buying up its core business. The startup wanted to sell off the leases for its remaining stores, as well as other assets, Medly's lawyer said during the Tuesday hearing. But Walgreens didn't bid on those assets during Medly's February bankruptcy auction, leaving Medly in control of its remaining stores. The bankruptcy filings revealed that CVS also placed a bid for Medly's pharmacy scripts and other assets. The sale of its pharmacy assets to a major drugstore chain shows just how hard it is to innovate in the pharmacy industry.

New Delhi CNN Busines —Indian startup Skyroot Aerospace launched the country’s first privately developed rocket, Vikram-S, into space on Friday with support from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Until now, the country’s space industry has been dominated by the state-run ISRO, but Skyroot Aerospace has opened up the sector to private companies. This mission symbolizes not just India’s first private rocket launch but also “the potential of new India,” said Pawan Kumar Chandana, co-founder of Skyroot Aerospace after the launch. Skyroot Aerospace was launched in 2018 and is based in the southern tech hub of Hyderabad. Last year, it became the first startup to enter into an agreement with ISRO to use the Indian space agency’s expertise and to access facilities.
