CNN —If you decompress by playing with dogs or checking their adorable videos on social media, you might be onto something. Playing with your dog may not just be good for your pet — it could also benefit your emotional health, according to a new study. The authors measured participants’ brain waves, using electroencephalogram tests, or EEGs, for three minutes during each activity. Different activities had varying effects on participants’ brain waves. Grooming, playing and gently massaging the dog was linked with strengthened beta-band oscillation, which is associated with heightened attention and concentration.

The Kansas City Chiefs will appear in their fourth Super Bowl in five seasons when they take to the field in Las Vegas on February 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. And, like the early era of the Patriots, the Chiefs don’t look like they’re stopping any time soon. To the surprise of many, given Smith’s improvement under Reid, Kansas City selected Patrick Mahomes out of Texas Tech. Mahomes has two MVP awards, two Super Bowl wins and two Super Bowl MVPS, while Brady had three Super Bowl titles, two Super Bowl MVPs and no NFL MVP awards. You don’t have to know a screen pass from a field goal to know something about the Kansas City Chiefs.”What do the Chiefs themselves think?

An American Airlines flight attendant posted a video about being involved in a road rage incident. The flight attendant said a woman shouted 'Fuck your airline!' An American Airlines flight attendant said a passenger angry with the company nearly killed her in a road rage incident. Last year, a flight attendant told CNN that crew members sometimes sprint through airports when there are delays to avoid being hassled by passengers. "They think it's your fault the flight has been delayed," the flight attendant said.

Opinion | The Politics of Delusion Have Taken Hold

He concluded:As the old sociological adage goes, situations believed to be real can become real in their consequences. In that sense people are, in fact, operating under a delusion that everyday opposing partisans are willing to undermine democracy. Partisans, Braley continued, “overestimate how much members of the other party dislike and dehumanize them. When Democrats see this election denial, they naturally come to think that Republicans are trying to undermine democracy by not accepting election results. The first “is the need for politicians to mobilize citizens with busy lives and not much of an incentive to participate in politics.
