WASHINGTON — A dozen House Democrats publicly criticized their colleague Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., late Wednesday, accusing her of giving "cover" to terrorist and suggesting her remarks about Hamas and the Taliban reflect a "deep-seated prejudice." “Equating the United States and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban is as offensive as it is misguided,” the group, led by Rep. Brad Schneider, of Illinois, said in a statement, urging Omar to "clarify" her remarks. Omar responded to her critics by calling their statement "offensive" and defending her initial remarks. We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban,” she wrote on Twitter, echoing her remarks on the video. In a follow-up tweet, Omar defend her initial remarks: “Citing an open case against Israel, US, Hamas & Taliban in the [The International Criminal Court] isn’t comparison or from 'deeply seated prejudice'.

The 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley Act requires auditors of U.S. publicly listed companies to be registered and regularly reviewed by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Enter Congress, which unanimously passed legislation that would kick companies off U.S. exchanges in three years if their auditors don’t let the PCAOB review their books. and Rep. Brad Sherman (D., Calif.) say Chinese companies should have to play by U.S. rules to benefit from our rich and liquid capital markets. U.S. investors will hold and trade shares in Chinese companies like Alibaba regardless of where they are listed. Americans receive more protections when the companies are listed on U.S. exchanges where they are subject to U.S. securities laws.

He was stunned when the representative told him, "Aaron, we don't have a Wells Fargo account. Aaron and Lindsey Fisher Source: CNBCThe couple was hit by what is known as real estate wire fraud, an increasingly common crime. Documents compiled by the Fishers show the fraudsters emailed digital copies of the real closing documents and wire instructions that looked real from the fake email account "These were the real closing docs. The FBI says this type of real estate wire fraud has been around for years, but now criminals are targeting high-end markets, like New York, Los Angeles and Palm Beach, and expensive homes. The Fishers' money was wired to a real account number, but the account name on the fraudulent wiring instructions, Schlossberg & Associate, LLC., appears to have been made up.
