There's no sense in this, said Gary Kusin, the cofounder of Babbage, the company to which GameStop traces its roots. Imagine if Taylor Swift's brand or company went public, and all the Swifties bought stock, the shares would be overvalued. What Wall Street doesn't understand is that there are Swifties in the video game industry. "If I worked on Wall Street, I would find some other stocks and some other places to go; I wouldn't touch GameStop." And I believe that's exactly what's ailing Wall Street right now," Kusin said.

NEW YORK (AP) — The first thought that comes to mind when you enter the Balloon Museum for the “Let’s Fly” exhibit is the massive scale of the art. But it's the adventure of a theme park attraction that can awaken the childlike wonder in all of us. “The idea of Balloon Museum is to create a space where artists meet the public and they meet by meaning everybody from the smallest to the oldest,” said Smigla-Bobinski. While the exhibition varies in content from each city the Balloon Museum takes up residency, there’s one constant, Balloon Street, where guests can be fully immersed and become part of the installations. Premiering in Rome in 2020, the Balloon Museum has toured through Europe with its curation focused on inflatable art installations.

"In an increasingly volatile and interconnected world, to be a truly responsible cyber power, nations must be able to contest and compete with adversaries in cyberspace," GCHQ director Jeremy Fleming said. The statement was published alongside a 28-page paper designed "to illustrate aspects of how the UK is being a responsible cyber power". The paper accompanying the statement did not say which disinformation-spreading states British hackers had worked to counter. It noted, however, that "countries such as Russia and Iran routinely carry out cyber operations of different kinds in order to spread disinformation". Indeed the intent is sometimes that adversaries do not realise that the effects they are experiencing are the result of a cyber operation," GCHQ said.
Cheddar News has lost more than 10 newsroom staffers since the start of 2023, sources told Insider. As of March, Cheddar appears to have plans to hire at least five news-related roles, according to Altice's jobs portal. a former Cheddar producer said. The two executives are said to have denied speculation that Altice has any plans to combine Cheddar and News 12. Sources previously told Insider that, throughout 2022, the Cheddar newsroom had contracted by roughly a third.
Insider obtained leaked audio of an hour-long all-hands meeting at Cheddar News. Leadership also addressed employees' concerns about the state of the company, including under-staffing, burnout, and a recent wave of departures. Three more staffers have either exited Cheddar's newsroom or are imminently on the way out this week, Insider has learned. A spokesperson for Altice USA offered no comment. 16 insiders described unrest and discord partly fueled by the site's revamped social media strategy. Malaspina's plan was for Cheddar to look and feel like a social media platform and to position its stars as influencers. Concerns inside Cheddar intensified when Malaspina, a newcomer to journalism, refocused its coverage on social media content. Multiple segments and even an entire show — "Trending" at 7 p.m. — centered on social media trends and TikTok challenges. It's very troubling to think that news professionals would inflate or distort their social media followings.
