Cash App founder Bob Lee was having an affair with his accused killer's sister, Khazar Momeni, sources told WSJ. Khazar's brother, Nima Momeni, is in jail on murder charges in the fatal stabbing of Lee last month. Sources said Lee and Khazar were both part of "The Lifestyle," an underground San Francisco party scene. Cash App founder Bob Lee, who was stabbed to death last month, was having an affair with the sister of his alleged killer, Nima Momeni, according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal. According to witnesses at the scene, Lee told Nima that his sister had not taken any drugs and "nothing inappropriate had happened."
Jane Roberts was paid more than $10 million by a host of elite law firms, a whistleblower alleges. At least one of those firms argued a case before Chief Justice Roberts after paying his wife hundreds of thousands of dollars. And I realized that even the law firms who were Jane's clients had nowhere to go. Mark Jungers, another one of Jane Roberts' former colleagues, said that Jane was smart, talented, and good at her job. But whether that committee has the authority to discipline Thomas or any other Supreme Court Justice remains a matter of murky constitutional interpretation, to be ultimately decided by the Supreme Court itself.
Nima Momeni is in jail on a murder charge in the stabbing of Cash App founder Bob Lee. His lawyer told Insider that Momeni was placed "in a safety protocol." Wu did not immediately respond to a follow-up inquiry on the circumstances that might have placed Momeni under watch. Lee was fatally stabbed on San Francisco street in the early morning of April 4. Prior to the stabbing, Lee was staying at 1 Hotel San Francisco, just a few blocks from Khazar's apartment.

Footage widely shared on social media showed the aftermath of the attack in a palm-studded resort in the small town of Cortazar, about 65 km (40 miles) south of the Guanajuato city. It was not clear who was behind the shooting that killed the seven-year-old, three men and three women, Cortazar's local security department said. But in recent years rival drug cartels have been waging brutal battles to control territory and trafficking routes through the state. Video taken soon after the attack showed shocked adults and children walking past piles of dead bodies near a swimming pool. Nike "takes great pride as a leader in supporting female athletes," the company said. Goucher's book also describes a persistently sexist culture at the Nike Oregon Project and says that Alberto Salazar, a celebrated distance runner and former Nike coach, sexually assaulted her. "My story helped sell shoes, shorts, T-shirts, and bras," Goucher wrote of her time as a Nike-backed runner. "In 2018 we standardized our approach across all sports to support all of our female athletes during pregnancy," Nike said in the statement. We know that Nike can continue to play an elevated role in supporting female athletes and improving their experience in sports."
The conservative blowback came as no surprise to Parker, who told Nike's board of directors to expect some short-term backlash. In late 2014, the BBC sent a film crew to Portland to interview several former Oregon Project employees. "He would be at the side of the track calling out runners' splits but wouldn't call Kara's out," Adam Goucher told me. When people asked why she left the Oregon Project, she said it was a "personal decision." "I don't think it has anything to do with who the CEO is," Goucher told me.

A Texas sheriff has certified that dozens of migrants who were flown from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, last month under a new program by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis were crime victims, boosting their eligibility for a special visa. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said Thursday he had filed certification forms that immigration lawyers say can be used to obtain visas reserved for crime victims or people who witness certain crimes. Salazar, an elected Democrat, said last month that his office had opened a criminal investigation into the flights from Texas to Martha's Vineyard. Self said: "No matter what your political beliefs are, these people are all crime victims.
