Nov 16 (Reuters) - The United States on Thursday imposed visa restrictions on eleven people for "undermining democracy and the rule of law" in Guatemala as it condemned attempts to undermine the transfer of power, the State Department said.
"We join the Organization of American States in calling for a transfer of power that respects popular will, is consistent with the Inter-American Democratic Charter, and adheres to the rule of law in Guatemala," spokesperson Matthew Miller said.
