Reddit and selling shareholders raised about $750 million from the offering, with the company collecting about $519 million. This year, Reddit said it plans to recognize roughly $66.4 million in revenue as part of its data licensing deals. Google has also entered into an expanded partnership with Reddit, allowing the search giant to obtain more access to Reddit data to train AI models and improve its products. BEIJING, Nov 22 (Reuters) - Police in the southwestern city of Chengdu said they had arrested a 39-year-old man surnamed Chen on suspicion of opening a casino, according to a notice on Wednesday. The person, who it described as Chen Moujie, has been arrested in accordance with the law and a further investigation is ongoing, the notice said. State media outlet Xinhua and local outlet wallstreetcn both reported that the police statement referred to the arrest of Chen Shaojie. Chen founded DouYu in 2014 and grew the company into China's leading video game streaming platform in China by number of users. Emmett Shear, the CEO of Amazon 's live streaming service Twitch, is stepping down from his role, effective immediately, the company announced Thursday. After buying Twitch, Amazon was largely hands-off with the business, though it has offered Prime subscribers perks on the live streaming platform, like free games and in-game loot. Shear will be replaced by Twitch President Dan Clancy, who has been a "close partner" to Shear, he wrote in a blog post. "Twitch will always remain part of my extended family, a community where I grew in so many ways alongside Twitch itself." "I think TikTok is super interesting," Jad Dayeh, a partner and the cohead of digital at WME, told Business Insider in a wide-ranging interview. Since the rise of digital media, WME has developed a department for influencers who are popular on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and now TikTok. Dayeh said WME spent a lot of time last year negotiating these "multimillion-dollar multiyear deals" for the gamers the company represents. WME also focused on securing partnerships between digital talent and major brands.
