Read previewShopify plans to stop referring to its Shopify Plus offering as a stand-alone brand, according to an internal post viewed by Business Insider. By deprecating the Shopify Plus brand, Shopify could be signaling that it no longer needs or wants to differentiate between its various customer segments. To make this obvious, we started a product line called Shopify Plus and built entire marketing campaigns around the Shopify Plus brand. We built Plus brand as a counter-position to the Shopify brand. Shopify Plus will have all the same brand equity as Shopify Advanced or Shopify Basic.
