The suspects were under house arrest pending a criminal investigation for abuses committed against seven women, accusations they have denied. Recursul se declară inadmisibil în special cînd recursul a fost depus după expirarea termenului stabilit la art. Partidul Noua Opțiune Istorică care și-a schimbat denumirea în PAȘ a depus vineri, 11 iunie, actele la CEC pentru înregistrarea în cursa pentru alegerile parlamentare anticipate din 11 iulie curent. Potrivit listei candidaților Partidului „Noua Opțiune Istorică”, liderii formațiunii politice sunt Svetlana Chesari, Alexandru Borisencov, Nina Mariutina și Elena Savițchi. Pe 21 mai, un anunț cu privire la modificarea denumirii formațiunii politice Partidul Politic „Noua Opțiune Istorică” a fost publicat în Monitorul Oficial. Coincidență sau nu, fiind abreviată, noua denumire a formațiunii era identică cu cea a Partidului Acțiune și Solidaritate (PAS).

Alegerile parlamentare anticipate nu vor schimba esenţial noua componenţă a legislativului, dacă sistemul politic din țară nu va fi reformat. De aceasta părere este fostul preşedinte al Curţii Constituţionale, Alexandru Tănase, invitat la emisiunea "În centrul atenţiei" de la Publika TV. Potrivit lui, pentru a schimba situaţia, trebuie micşorat pragului electoral de la 5% la 3%, pentru a permite unor partide noi să acceadă în Parlament. "Dacă un singur partid va avea o majoritate, acesta se va ciocni cu mai multe probleme, precum formarea unui Guvern, aprecierea stării lucrurilor în Moldova și va trebui să scoată Republica Moldova din criza economică, pandemică. "În cursa pentru alegerile parlamentare anticipate s-au înscris 23 de concurenţi electorali.
