Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday renewed threats of abandoning the Black Sea Grain Initiative, an agreement that allows the safe wartime export of agricultural products from besieged Ukrainian ports. Lavrov also said that the deal is currently one-sided since Russian fertilizers have not been able to transit the same way Ukrainian grain has. "It was not called the grain deal it was called the Black Sea Initiative and in the text itself the agreement stated that this applies to the expansion of opportunities to export grain and fertilizer," Lavrov told reporters during a press conference. Trupele pacificatoare rusești se află în regiunea transnistreană în mod legal, spune reprezentanta Ministerului rus de Extern, Maria Zaharova, drept replică pentru secretarul general al Alianţei Nord-Atlantice, Jens Stoltenberg, a a declarat recent că Rusia încalcă integritatea teritorială şi suveranitatea R. Moldova. Zaharova mai spune că Rusia se angajează să îndeplinească cu strictețe prin contingentul său militar mandatul și sarcinile operațiunii de menținere a păcii. Marți, 2 decembrie, secretarul general al Alianţei Nord-Atlantice, Jens Stoltenberg, a declarat că aliaţii din NATO susţin cu fermitate integritatea teritorială şi independenţa R. Moldova. „Vedem cum Rusia a desfăşurat trupe prin încălcarea dorinţelor diferitelor guverne din vecinătatea noastră, cum Rusia a anexat ilegal Crimeea, cum continuă să destabilizeze estul Ucrainei, cum există trupe ruseşti în regiuni din Georgia şi, de asemenea, cum există trupe în Moldova, în Transnistria”, a declarat şeful NATO. La 30 noiembrie, în cadrul primei sale conferințe de presă în calitate de președintă aleasă a R. Moldova, Maia Sandu, a făcut, din nou, mai multe precizări legate de viziunile sale privind conflictul transnistrean și retragerea trupelor rusești de pe teritoriul R. Moldova.
