Rudy Giuliani can no longer practice law in Washington, DC. Go to newsletter preferences Thanks for signing up! AdvertisementRudy Giuliani has officially lost his law license — in Washington, DC, this time. It is the latest indignity for Giuliani, who has been shoved out of the legal profession after promoting conspiracy theories about the 2020 election following Donald Trump's election loss, and was previously disbarred in New York. The Washington, DC, Court of Appeals handed down the disbarment order with "reciprocal discipline," finding Giuliani was unable to show why the New York decision to take away his law license was wrong.

Three of Trump's children are employees of World Liberty Financial, including his 18-year-old son Barron, who CoinDesk reported holds the title of "DeFi visionary" at the company. World Liberty Financial's spokesperson, Jim Redner, told BI he has "no information." Both were involved in a project called Dough Finance, whose source code appears remarkably similar to that of World Liberty Financial, Coindesk reported. It's still unclear when World Liberty Financial will begin allowing investors to purchase its tokens. "Attention community: Please be aware of scams and fake tokens," World Liberty Financial posted on Telegram last month.

WASHINGTON — Allies of Donald Trump see Tuesday's debate as a pivotal moment for the Republican presidential nominee — a chance to shore up support and turn the corner from Kamala Harris' post-nomination "honeymoon." Trump allies are hopeful that the debate will cap a turnaround from the recent weeks of tumult and help him enter the fall on a competitive footing. “Everyone on Team Trump firmly believes that we’re better-positioned to win,” said a source close to Trump. Harris poses a different set of challenges for Trump on the debate stage. “The Democrats and the Harris campaign have done an amazing job at messaging and hitting at the right time.

I stopped spending money on things that weren't of value to me." Side hustles and investing in retirement can boost one's savingsOver the past decade, Grumet has padded his savings through various income streams. In addition to hospice work, he's also tried side hustles that include medical expert work, nursing home medical directing, medical blogging, and several forms of consulting. While the extra income has helped boost his savings, Grumet said investing much of this income into the stock market — and seeing strong investment returns — is what's allowed his finances to truly blossom. Grumet said his retirement goal was to have at least 25 times his total annual spending in savings — he's already met this milestone.

But this reminds me a bit of the 2015 era when digital publishers like BuzzFeed and Vox Media told investors they weren't media companies but tech companies that made media. The bigger problem with the tech + media pitch isn't that tech and media aren't intertwined. Former President Donald Trump has spent years attacking Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden's only surviving son, and raising campaign cash on his unfounded claims that the Biden family is corrupt and above the law. Long before Hunter Biden was found guilty Tuesday of three federal gun crimes, Trump made the 54-year-old lawyer and recovering drug addict the centerpiece of his bare-knuckle campaign against Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election. The latest Trump ads on Google and YouTube are also devoid of any mention of Hunter Biden. This disastrous mindset has hollowed out Silicon Valley's ability to innovate and caused regular people to grow increasingly frustrated with everyday tech. The large platforms have generally ignored this feedback for one big reason: The tech industry has been taken over by career managers. Now Google Search is more profitable and worse, elevating spammy content and outright scams, a problem exacerbated by artificial intelligence. AdvertisementBut today's tech products feel built to sell a dream of the future rather than solve a customer's existing pains. As long as the tech industry is controlled by people who don't build things, it will continue to build products that help raise growth metrics rather than help consumers with tangible problems.

On the eve of the May jobs report, CNBC's Jim Cramer reminded investors about the tricky balancing act the Federal Reserve is attempting to pull off — bringing down inflation without seriously damaging the economy. Investors are rooting for weak figures so the Fed will be more inclined to implement interest rate cuts. But Cramer said Wall Street should remember what is at stake for consumers, especially those with low incomes, when it comes to this data and the Fed decisions. According to Cramer, it is hard for retailers to correctly dub consumers as weak or strong because they are familiar with their own customers, not the broader population. Cramer continued, saying, "the gulf is wide" between consumers, but suggested that many wealthy investors do not know enough about this dichotomy.

Another Trump term, on the other hand, would likely entail a radical reversal from not just the previous four years, but even from Trump's first term in office. While not exhaustive, here's just some of what to expect in a second Trump administration. Miller told The New York Times that a second Trump administration would build "vast holding facilities that would function as staging centers" on "open land in Texas near the border."
