Elon Musk said he wants to chat with Tim Cook about Apple's App Store fee. Musk said he wants the company to change how Apple takes its fee from X subscriptions. Elon Musk wants Apple to make an exception on its App Store fee for users of X, formerly Twitter. Musk said he wants Apple CEO Tim Cook to change the fees it takes when users of its App Store subscribe to creator pages on X. That includes taking 30% of what X users pay for subscriptions on apps during the first year and 15% for following years, according to The Verge.

Elon Musk said Wednesday he met with Apple Inc. Chief Executive Tim Cook at Apple’s headquarters, just days after the new Twitter Inc. boss launched attacks on the company’s App Store and advertising. “Thanks @tim_cook for taking me around Apple’s beautiful HQ,” Mr. Musk wrote on Twitter.
Elon Musk posted a video on Wednesday, claiming Tim Cook showed him around Apple's campus. Apple didn't respond to a request for comment; Musk's tweet comes after he slammed the company on Twitter. New York Times reporter Kate Conger said on Twitter that Apple employees saw Musk and Cook together on campus on Wednesday. Musk, who calls himself Twitter's "Chief Twit," on Monday accused Apple of exercising monopoly powers through its App Store. Musk later added that Apple had "threatened" to take Twitter off its App Store and "won't tell us why."
